Kentucky 2026 live midterm results: Rep. Andy Barr projected winner of Senate race

Polls closed in Kentucky Tuesday, where voters cast their ballots in a major Senate race and key U.S. House races in the 2026 midterm elections.

Incumbent Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell did not run for reelection. Rep. Andy Barr is projected to keep the seat in GOP hands, while former state Rep. Charles Booker was trying to flip it.

Meanwhile, Republican candidate Ed Gallrein is running in the 4th Congressional District after ousting Republican Rep. Thomas Massie in the primary, while Democrats are eyeing Barr’s 6th Congressional District.
