Pabst Blue Ribbon offers $20K reward for information after 40,000-pound beer heist in Southern California
A full truckload of beer went missing from an Anheuser-Busch center on Aug. 17.
MONTCLAIR, Calif. -- Pabst Blue Ribbon needs your help finding its stolen beer, and the company is now offering a reward for information that helps them track it down.
More than 1,600 cases of beer -- aka a full truckload -- went missing from an Anheuser-Busch distribution center in Montclair, California, on Aug. 17.
The stolen beer is worth about $70,000.
The beer company's CEO, Greig DeBow, says he's sure whoever stole the 40,000 lbs of beer looks cool with a garage full of PBR, but enough is enough. He's offering a $20,000 reward to track the stolen beer down.
DeBow added that they want the beer back by Sept. 9.
In a post on TikTok, the company clarified that any new information that leads to the recovery of the beer before the Sept. 9 deadline will be eligible for up to $5,000. After the deadline, the reward will increase to up to $20,000.
