Tim Curry made his stage debut in 1968 in the original West End production of "Hair." On set, he met fellow actor Richard O'Brien. The two collaborated on a musical, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," which debuted in London in 1973. It was adapted into a movie in 1975 and became a cult favorite. He went on to play memorable roles in movies such as "Annie," "Clue," and "It." In 1991, Curry won a Daytime Emmy Award for "Peter Pan and the Pirates." He also performed on Broadway, getting Tony nominations his lead roles in the 1981 play "Amadeus," and the 2005 musical, "Monty Python’s Spamalot."
