Sen. Mark Kelly says he's optimistic for big win for Democrats
Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) said he's hopeful that Democrats will come away from Tuesday's election with a majority in the House and Senate.
Speaking to ABC News’ Kyra Phillips, Kelly said even if Democrats win both chambers, they'll have to work alongside Republicans and the president to get legislation across the line.
When asked what are his top three legislative priorities if Democrats take control of Congress, Kelly emphasized “delivering for people where it’s going to help them in their lives.”
Kelly went on to list reducing fuel costs, changing course on tariff policy, and expanding Medicaid coverage as examples.
“It’s time for hardworking Americans to get a little help,” Kelly said.

Sen. Sullivan casts ballot in Alaska, says race is about integrity
Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan cast his ballot in Alaska's midterm election on Tuesday, touting confidence in his campaign and framing the race as one about integrity.
"We were the campaign focused on record, integrity, character and the truth. My opponent's campaign is literally focused on misleading Alaskans, lying, and cheating. That's a strong contrast," Sullivan said, referring to the allegations that Democratic Senate candidate Mary Peltola's campaign recruited a spoiler candidate with the same first and last name as his.
"There is no doubt that people are mad. We are witnessing the biggest election cheating scandal in the history of the state of Alaska," Sullivan alleged. "Maybe one of the biggest in the U.S. Senate's history."
Sullivan again affirmed his willingness to accept the results of the election once they are certified, regardless of the outcome.
Peltola has denied that she knew of an effort to recruit a candidate to be on the Alaska ballot with the same name as the Republican incumbent.

El-Sayed on election odds: 'I feel good'
Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed said he's optimistic about his chances of winning Tuesday.
"I feel good because all of the evidence suggests that we actually built the whole issue we want to build. Some of us believe in trust in science and evidence. Some people just do vibes," he told reporters at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor campus, adding that "time will tell."
El-Sayed also said he was preparing for potential challenges to the election.
"We're bracing for all outcomes, but we're hoping that this outcome is decisive in a way that it can't be challenged by somebody who had bad faith in fear about democracy," he said.

DeSantis says some Republicans are 'gaslighting' voters on gas prices
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis urged Republicans not to dismiss voters' concerns surrounding rising costs affected by the war in Iran.
In an interview with Stephen A. Smith, DeSantis said some Republicans are "gaslighting" Americans by not being honest that the war is leading to higher prices.
"We have some of our voters who've checked out because they're like 'I didn't want any more Middle East wars' and now we're doing it," DeSantis said.
"[W]e just got to be honest. Gas is higher. It hurts people, working-class people, and it's higher because of this conflict," DeSantis further said. "That's just a fact. If you can't admit that to voters, then you're gaslighting them, and they're not going to listen to you on other things."
