Meghan Markle takes on new role on 'Junior MasterChef Australia'
Meghan appeared on “MasterChef Australia” as a guest judge earlier this year.
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has announced her newest venture and it is one that will take her Down Under.
The duchess will join the new season of "Junior MasterChef Australia," premiering next year, the show's production company announced Tuesday.
Meghan -- who was previously a guest judge on "MasterChef Australia" -- will be a special guest on the kids' cooking competition show alongside Poh Ling Yeow, an Australia-based chef and "MasterChef" judge.
"I had an incredible time with the whole team at MasterChef this past April, so when they approached me to come back and work with this young group of talent, it was an easy yes," Meghan said in a statement shared by the show's production company, EndemolShine Australia. "I love cooking with my own kids, so seeing what these young stars create in the kitchen is going to be a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see what they cook up."
Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, currently live in the United Kingdom with their two children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5.
The family moved to the U.K. in August from California, where they had lived for the past six years.
During her time in California, Meghan hosted two seasons of her own lifestyle show, "With Love, Meghan," on Netflix.
Prior to marrying Harry in 2018, Meghan was an actress on the TV series "Suits."
The duchess has only made one official public appearance since moving back to the U.K. She and Harry visited Nottingham together on Oct. 15, visiting three charities supporting children, young people and families.
Meghan and Harry have not shared publicly where in the U.K. they are living, nor how long they plan to stay.
