Television's biggest night of the year is in the books!

The 78th Emmy Awards brought together television's biggest stars, shows and creators to celebrate the best of the small screen.

Mariska Hargitay hosted the event for the first time. "Widow's Bay" dominated a crowded field, ending the night with six wins on top of the eight wins the show took home previously at the Creative Arts Emmys, held earlier this month.

On Monday, "Widow's Bay" took home the awards for outstanding comedy series, as well as outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series, outstanding supporting actor, lead actor, writing and directing.

Zendaya stuns on red carpet

Zendaya stunned on the Emmys red carpet in a sparkling, bedazzled silver gown.

She is nominated for lead actress in a drama series for her role as Rue in “Euphoria,” which aired its final season earlier this year. Zendaya could set a record as the youngest actress to win three Emmys in the lead actress in a drama series category and for winning every single season of a show.


Meg Stalter arrives as the prize

"Hacks" star Meg Stalter came dressed for the occasion -- literally.

The first-time Emmy nominee arrived on the red carpet dressed as the Emmy statuette, complete with wings and an atom to hold high.

Stalter, who is nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series, also wore gold body paint to complete the look.


Emmys host Mariska Hargitay arrives with family

This evening's host, Mariska Hargitay, is in the building.

Hargitay, who is helming the Emmys this year for the first time, arrived in a red dress, fitting for the red carpet.

The actress posed for photos with her daughter Amaya Hermann, whom she shares with husband Peter Hermann.

Amaya Hermann matched her mother in a red look.

The 2026 Emmys red carpet is officially in full swing.
