Shop 6 picks from Allure's new Best of Beauty list

The 30th annual Allure Best of Beauty list is here.
The list is the culmination of a yearlong editorial vetting process where thousands of products are submitted for consideration and Allure editors run extensive tests to select winners, according to Allure. Experts including dermatologists, cosmetic chemists, hair stylists and makeup artists also weigh in to help determine the list.
With the help of Jessica Cruel, Editor-in-Chief of Allure Magazine, "GMA" is highlighting six of the publisher's picks, including brands like Gisou, Farmacy, and SkinCeuticals, and making them easy to shop below.
Start with skincare like Josie Maran's Golden Hour body butter, a highly-rated product with a warm and spicy scent. Splurge on SkinCeuticals' C E Ferulic serum, which Allure says is ideal for normal, dry and sensitive skin types. Ahead of the colder months, invest in a hydrating lip mask like Gisou's Honey Glaze Collagen Therapy lip mask.
Allure also recommends the Danessa Myricks Beauty Colorfix Stix, a multi-use, double-sided eye, cheek and lip stick in a wide assortment of colors. Complete the look with Armani Beauty's Vertigo Lift lengthening mascara for sculpted lashes.
Finally, cleanse with Farmacy's Green Clean Cleansing Balm to gently remove makeup and leave your skin feeling fresh.

Lip
"This is such a fun one because even the packaging looks like a little honeypot, and it has this really delicious honey-buttercream scent," Cruel says. "But beyond being adorable, it really delivers. The formula is rich and cushioning with hydrating nectar to help hydrate and soothe dry, chapped lips." Cruel adds that you can use this as an overnight treatment before bed, too.
Clean skin care
"It starts as a solid cleansing balm, but as soon as you massage it into dry skin, it melts into this really luxurious, milky oil," Cruel says. "It’s incredibly effective at melting away makeup and grime, while moringa seed oil helps nourish and soften the skin, so you’re cleansing without that stripped or dry feeling."
Clean body care
"This is one of those products that feels like an instant indulgence! It has this really fluffy, whipped-cream texture that feels incredibly rich, but sinks into the skin quickly without feeling sticky," Cruel says. "The hydration is really what makes it stand out. It’s packed with argan oil and shea butter so your skin is left feeling noticeably softer, smoother and more radiant."
Breakthrough
"What’s so interesting about these is that Danessa Myricks really reimagined the traditional eye shadow stick, both in formula and the packaging," Cruel explains, highlighting that they have a water gel-based formula and come in metallic and foil finishes.
"The packaging is also part of what makes them so innovative. The eye shadow sticks magnetically click onto either end of this substantial silver wand and they’re completely interchangeable, so you can customize your own shade combination."
Eyes
"This is a great one if you love really dramatic lashes, but still want a lot of control over the final look," Cruel says.
"The wand has these precise, flexible bristles that coat every single lash, so you can continue building volume without everything starting to clump together. It also gives you that beautiful lifting and lengthening effect, while the rich pigment creates a really bold and defined lash."
Splurge
"This is really an icon in the skincare world and is beloved by dermatologists, beauty editors and chemists for 20 years, and there’s a reason why it has had that kind of staying power," Cruel says. It combines 15 percent pure vitamin C with vitamin E and ferulic acid.
"And I always think this is the funniest testament to how beloved it is: it’s famously known for having a slightly unusual smell, and people still swear by it. When a product has been around for 20 years and inspires that kind of loyalty, you know it’s doing something right."
